Treasures of Historical Value

108 volumes of "Kagyur" (the translation of commandments) presented to Jamchen Choje by Emperor Yongle of the Ming Dynasty at the former's departure from Beijing.
A one-storye high "Thangka" (scroll dpainting) of Lord Buddha, believed to have woven by the hair of dakinis, presented to Jamchen Choje by EmperorYongle.
A volume of "Gyetong" scripture written in gold, said to have printed by a minister of Emperor Yongle, named Kong Da Ren, (presently kept in the General Assembly hall of Sera).
Images of the Sixteen Arhats carved of sandalwood presented to Jamchen Choje by Emperor Yongle. Later, clay images were made to preserve the original ones within these clay images, (presently kept in the Assembly Hall of Ngagpa College).
An image of Eleven-head Avalokitesvara believed to have been the "faith of mind" of an lndian queen named, Indra Bodhi.
A two-storeyed bronze image of Maitreya Buddha erected by Lhasang khan of Mongolia in confession of his kiling of Desi Sanggye-Gyatso.
An image of Lord Buddha brought to Med College from Samye Geggye Jampaling. The image of Hiyagriva, the Horse-necked One, in Je College.
