On January 31st, the large bridge of Qinghai-Tibet Railway over Lhasa River was completed. This bridge is located in Lhasa city with the elevation of more than 3,700 meters, opposite to Potala Palace.

It is a symbol project of Qinghai-Tibet Railway construction with a total span of 928.85 meters. This bridge is combined with Tibetan characteristics and modern styles. It will be finished before June, 2005.
