"Bkra Shis Bde Legs" means lucky and fortunate.

"Lo Sar Bzang" means happy new year.

"Kra Shis Bde Legs Phun Sum Tshogs" is used for blessing the elders and it means lucky, fortunate and boundless beneficence.

"A Ma Bag Gro Sku Khams Bzang" is used for wishing others longevity and health.

"Gtan Du Bde Ba Thob Par Shog" is to wish others a joyous and prosperous new year.

"Nam Yang A'dzoms Rgyu Yod Par Shog" means that one hopes that some day soon they will be together.

"Kye Kye, Bsogs, Lha Rgyal Lo" is to pray that gods can bring joy and happiness to you today and always.

"Zhabs Dag" is used for toasting.
