Qomolangma clean-up finished

Volunteers of 2006 Qomolangma Clean-up Campaign returns to Capital Airport in Beijing from Tibet today, after finishing the clean-up of world summit Mt. Qomolangma.Four missions were done during the 16-day stay in Tibet.

2006 Mt. Qomolangma Clean-up Campaign

Mt. Qomolangma Clean-up Campaign is a commonweal action on environmental protection which has been successfully organized in 2004 and 2005. With the theme of "Realize the harmony between the nature and human being", Mt. Qomolangma Clean-up Campaign in 2006 aims at waking up more attention to the present environmental condition and promoting the environmental protection in China. The campaign will start May 22 and end June 6.
