After celebrating the Tibet new year, the commemorating ceremony of the Tibet's 60th Anniversary of the peaceful liberation falls on March 28.
So for the tourists' safety concern, an official said that Tibet would practice the temporary restriction measures on foreign tourists in March.
Tibet has already become a hot destination both for the home and abroad tourists. Tibet is the biggest, highest and the youngest plateau in the world. It claims to be the “Roof of the world” and "The Third Pole".
Last year, Tibet attracted about 6.82 million tourists. |
