It is said that the first and biggest modern agricultural demonstration area of Tibet will begin to be constructed in Xigaze Nyang Qu rivers drainage area and it indicates that Tibet agriculture begins to change to intensivism from traditional extensivism.

It is reported that the total investment of this project is 1300 million and will be divided into three phases to be constructed. Firstly it is the adjustment of the structure, layout and industrialization management; secondly it is the span stage to realize the change from extensivism to intensivism; thirdly it is the continuous development stage to realize the sustainable development agricultural demonstration area.

Reporter has got to know that Xigaze Nyang Qu rivers drainage area will give prominence to Technology and Green and with the existence of this demonstration area, lots of plateau green food will walk up to the inland and south Asia.
