Mourned for the great writer, Tshe dbang 'Jigs med
Tibetan writer Tshe dbang Jigs med was born in 1957 and died on October 30, 2004. Prior to his death, one of his works, ^The Last Yak Squads in Tibet won a national literature prize.
Tshe dbang Jigs med was a herdsman before he became a well-known writer. The experience enriched his career and made him welcomed by local people. His book pictured a real Tibet. They showed readers natural environment, local lifestyle and current living conditions.
